French Antique Desvres Faience Tiles in Blue & White, Set of 8 Silver Accents Stunning Spanish Triana pottery lebrilloA set of eight French antique Desvres faience tiles in blue & white. These transfer printed, earthenware tiles were manufactured in the late 1900's in Desvres, Northern France. Six of the tiles are back stamped. They are beautifully transfer printed in cobalt blue. A floral sprig sits in the centre of the cartouche framing. Sourced in: South West France Age: 19th Century Material: Earthenware What makes it special: Wonderful design in cobalt blue
