8750 Class - 3650 - Stephenson Clarke Blue Locomotive Class_Hunslet Austerity STBuilt at Swindon by the GWR as part of lot 325 in 1939, 3650 would move to Tyseley depot in Birmingham. It would stay here until moved to Wales during 1953 via a short 2 month stay at Bristol Bath Road (82A). Upon withdrawal from Neath (87A) in September 1963. Instead of scrapping, 3650 was sold to Stephenson Clarke Ltd, a private colliery operator at Gwaun cae Gurwen in South Wales, where it was painted blue with red Stephenson Clarke lettering along

albeit flying under the flag of the EP Rail ‘spot hire’ subsidiary
