It applies to cold rolled sections for general use (standard sections) produced from steels conforming to BS EN 10025, BS EN 10142 and BS EN 10147 and in the form of rectangular L, U, C, Z and Omega cross sections as well as split tubes. This standard also applies to cold rolled sections for special applications
