1952 Vintage Royal Stafford Fine Porcelain Biscuit Plate – Hydrangea Pattern Silver & MetalwareRoyal Stafford China was established in 1845 and became recognized around the world for manufacturing high quality beautiful tableware. In 1992 the company merged with Barratts of Staffordshire to become Royal Stafford with China or Bone China excluded from the name. This is a Royal Stafford China (Thomas Poole & Gladstone China Ltd) fine porcelain biscuit plate designed in the squared shape with a scalloped rim and 4 handles with embossed scroll
This lovely tea trio has been designed with an art deco styled handle on the tea cup
or a wallet
aside from which it is in excellent condition
made from light wood and a metal handle
An attractive vintage transparent glass biscuit plate decorated in a cut series of graduating circular patterns side by side along the verges underneath as well as a raised ball motif encircling the base of the plate with a sunburst cut and smaller ball motif circles
limited in its production
In very good condition with no damages
The pattern was released by Johnson Bros in blue as JB83 as well as burgundy as JB47
During the second world war the factory was dismantled by Soviet troops but the plant was quickly rebuilt by staff in 1943-1944
