Islay 10 Year Old Rare Find 58.5% #140 Long JohnThis undisclosed Islay was bottled by Gleann Mor for their Rare Find range. It started maturing in PX sherry casks in 2013 and was bottled in 2023 at natural cask strength of 58. 5%. Bottled without colouring or chill filtration. Nose: Strong Islay peat and a fresh hay note. Seaweed, smoked meats and blackcurrant jam. Palate: Maple smoked bacon, dark chocolate and redcurrants. Finish: TCP and more of that meaty profile.
